Bij de Challenge van de Dutch Card lovers is het deze week het theme "Shaped Cards" , kaarten in een andere vorm, dus geen standaard kaart. Ellen heeft deze leuke uitdaging bedacht voor ons. :) Alle DT hebben weer een afbeelding gekregen van Robyn's Fetish, onze sponsor van deze week.

The theme at the Dutch Card Lovers Challenge Blog  is "Shaped Cards" this week. Ellen made up this great Challenge for us. :) All the DT members got a image from Robyn's Fetish, our sponsor for this week, to play with.

Ik heb de digi genaamd Gnome gebruikt voor mijn kaart. Ik wou hem ergens op laten zitten en omdat hij zo'n "wijze oude man" uitstraling heeft wou ik hem met een andere afbeelding samen gebruiken. Net alsof hij zijn wijsheid wilt delen met iemand, in dit geval de vogel. :)) Het leek mij leuk om hem dan bij een vogelkooitje te laten zitten. Dit vogelkooitje heb ik uitgestanst met een stans van Marianne Design. In het vogelkooitje heb ik een tag geschoven waarop je iets kan schrijven. Ik vindt hem eigenlijk best wel leuk geworden. :))
Kijk ook maar eens op ons Challenge blog voor de prachtige uitwerkingen van de andere DT leden. :) Ze zijn geweldig!!

I used the digistamp called Gnome for my card. I wanted to let him sit on something and because he looks like a wise old men I wanted to combine him with another image as he would like to share his wisdom with someone, in this case the bird. :)) I wanted to use a birdcage he could sit on with the bird so I punched out the birdcase with a die from Marianne Design. Inside the birdcage I placed a tag where you can write a little note on it. I think he turned out really cute. :))

Zomer en hitte dat is het thema deze week bij Delightful Challenges. En de afbeelding van Bee Hive Larry vondt ik hiervoor heel leuk om te gebruiken. Samen met het vrolijke en frisse papier geeft het een echte zomerse uitstraling. Ik heb er een verhuiskaart van gemaakt. ;)

Summer and Heat is the Challenge at Delightful Challenges. The image of Bee Hive Larry is perfect for this Challenge. Together with the summery colours of the designpapers gives it a real summery look.

Deze week heeft Anja voor ons de Challenge bedacht namelijk een sketch + je laten inspireren door de kleuren van  deze foto. Dat is nog eens een Challenge, ik vindt hem erg leuk. :))

This week Anja made the Challenge for us. She made us this sketch and we have to let us be inspired by the colours of the picture below. That's what I call a Challenge. :)) Love it.

Aangezien ik geen designpapier had in deze kleuren moest ik het met alleen cardstock doen. En dit is mijn uitwerking geworden.

Because I had no designpapers in these colours I used only cardstock. And this is my take on the sketch.

Tsja, hartje zomer en het thema bij Delightful Challenges is Kerstmis in Juli...lol..Maar je kan maar beter op tijd beginnen met je kerstkaarten. ;) Heb je straks niet zoveel stress om alles op tijd af te krijgen.
Ik heb de "Musical Angel Set" gebruikt voor mijn kaarten. Ik heb voor de kaarten dezelfde sketch gebruikt alleen elke keer een andere afbeelding.

Well, I know it's summer but the theme at Delightful Challenges is Christmas in July...lol... You better start earlie to make your Christmas cards so you don't have all that stress by the end of the year to get everything ready in time.
I used the "Musical Angel Set" for my cards. I used the same sketch but different images on the cards.

De binnenkant is allemaal hetzelfde en de tekst komt ook van de "Musical Angel Set".
The inside is all the same and the sentiment is also from the "Musical Angel Set".

Deze Quote heb ik voor mijn kaartje gebruikt. Die vindt ik zo mooi. ;) De stempels zijn van Whimsy Stamps en zijn ontworpen door Chrissy Armstrong. Dit is mijn 2e kaartje voor haar DT Call. Een hele andere stijl dan mijn vorige kaartje. Op de tag heb ik een kaartje gemaakt met behulp van een Nestebilitie die je open kan klappen. Met een lintje heb ik hem dicht geknoopt. De grote swirl is van een stans van Tim Holtz en de prachtige uitgestanste bloem is van Magnolia. Ik kon er verder niet veel meer op doen of met laagjes werken want dan past die niet meer in de kaart. ;)
Op de harten van de zonnebloemen heb ik Paper Glaze gedaan voor een beetje glans en voor een extra accent nog een kleine vlinder op de kaart geplakt

I used this Quote for my card. I love this one. ;) The stamps are from Whimy Stamps and Designed by Chrissy Armstrong. This is my 2e entree for here DT Call. A totally different style than my first entry. I made a little card with a Nestebilitie die and attached it to the tag. You can close the tag with the ribbon. The big swirl is a die from Tim Holtz  and the beautiful flower is a die from Magnolia. I couldn't put to many layers and too much on the tag otherwise it wouldn't fit into my card anymore. ;)
In the hearts of the sunflowers I put some Paper Glaze for a little sparkle and I attached a little butterfly for a extra accent on the card.

Bij Karens Doodles in de USA hebben ze een Challenge met Shaped Cards, dus geen standaard kaart. Ook hebben ze een DT Call zag ik en vandaag is de laatste dag om je op te geven hiervoor. Dus dat wil ik ook proberen. Ik vindt haar stempels zo gaaf. Dit is één van mijn favorieten. :)) Tango!
Ik heb er een ronde Easel kaart mee gemaakt en het papier van Basic Grey vindt ik hier heel mooi voor. En natuurlijk de harten stans van Cheery Lynn gebruikt. Die vindt ik zo gaaf!!

Dit is me nog niet gebeurd, ik ben een onderdeel vergeten in te kleuren en niemand die het gemerkt heeft...lol... Als je goed kijkt is de staart van het meisje niet ingekleurd. Dat heb ik nu dus even gauw veranderd. ;) Hier is de volledige kaart ingekleurd. :)

This hasn't happened to me before, I forgot to colour in a part of the image and no one noticed it...lol.. If you look good you see I forgot to color in her tail. So I quickly changed it.  ;) Here is the correct card and all coloured in. :)

Crissy zoekt voor hun maandelijkse Challenge bij Sundays with Chrissy DT leden. Je moet hiervoor 1 of meerdere creaties maken maar wel met  één van haar ontworpen stempels. Dat mag een digitale of een rubbere stempel zijn. Het bericht van de DT Call kan je hier vinden

Chrissy is looking for new DT members for her monthly challenge over at Sundays with Chrissy. You have to make 1 or more creations with one of her designs. It can be a digital or a rubber stamp, as long as it's one of her designs. You can find the post of the DT Call here.

De afbeelding die ik gebruikt hebt is een digitale stempel van Whimsy Stamps en heet Beach Baby Jayme. Ik vindt haar zo grappig en ondeugend dus daar wou ik een comische tekst bij gebruiken. Dus na even zoeken tussen mijn stempels kwam ik deze van CC Design tegen en vondt er wel leuk bij passen. :))

The image that I used is a digital stamp from Whimsy Stamps and is called Beach Baby Jayme. I think she is so funny and a little naughty so I wanted to use a funny sentiment. So I found these from CC Design that I thought would fit the image. :))
