Deze week is het Sandra's beurt om de challenge te verzorgen en zij heeft deze leuke sketch gemaakt voor ons. Ik had zin om deze stoere tempel van Boefje eens te gebruiken. Een echt stoer kaartje is het niet geworden met deze kleuren en de bloemen maar toch vindt ik hem wel leuk. ;)

This week it's Sandra's turn to look after the challenge and she made this great sketch for us. I wanted to use this sturdy stamp from Boefje. The card doesn't look verry sturdy with the colours and the flowers but I still like it. ;)

Het thema bij Stamps Something is deze week digital, dus iets digitaals stempelen. Op mijn kaart heb ik een nieuwe digitale stempel van DZDoodles gebruikt genaamd "Boxy Lady - Fishnet Stockings".  En ik heb de sketch van Whiff of Joy gebruikt, die vondt ik namelijk erg leuk. :)) De kleuren heb ik neutraal in zwart grijs tinten gehouden dat vondt ik het mooist bij deze afbeelding passen. Op de foto ziet het meisje er een beejte flets uit wat in het echt niet zo is. Ik kreeg het niet beter op de foto.

The theme at Stamp Something is this week something digital. So I used a new digital stamp from DZDoodles called "Boxy Lady - Fishnet Stockings". I used this great sketch  sketch from Whiff of Joy for my card. I loved that one. :)) With this image I liked to keep the colours neutral, so I used black and white. On the picture this girls looks a little pale, but in real it's not. I couldn't get a better picture of it.

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp meets Friday Sketches

Voor deze kaart heb ik de nieuwe afbeelding gebruikt van DZDoodles en heet "Basking in the Sun". Bij Friday Sketches was een leuke sketch gemaakt door Janneke en die vondt ik perfect voor mijn kaartje. De sketch heb ik een slag gedraaid omdat dat beter uitkwam met de afbeelding. Bij Dare U 2 Digi Stamp is het thema stitching, ik heb alleen de gaatjes gemaakt en geen garen gebruikt omdat het anders te druk werd. ;)
De oranje en de aqua kleur geven het een zomerse uitstraling.

For this card i used a new image from DZDoodles calles "Basking in the Sun". I found a great sketch by Friday Sketches made by Janneke that was perfect for my card. I rotated the sketch that orked better with my image. At Dare U 2 Digi Stamps the theme is stitching. I only stitched the holes because I think this would look better. The orange and aqua colours gave the card a summer feeling.

Het is zo simpel, dit is het thema van de nieuwe challenge bij Delightful Challenges. Geen gebruik van designpapier en geen embellishments. Nou zo simpel vondt ik het niet want ik gebruik beide volop....lol...maar hé het is tenslotte een challenge nietwaar? Dus heb ik het opgelost met embossen en randponsen om toch meer uitstraling te geven aan de kaart. ;) De afbeelding die ik gebruikt hebt heet : Rainy Day Dilly Duck en is van Digital Delights. Een geweldige stempel vindt ikzelf. :))

It's so simple, this is the theme for this week at Delightful Challenges. You can't use designpapers or embellishments. Well, it wasn't that simple for me because I use both a lot...lol... but hé, it's a challenge, right? So I solved the problem by embossing the papers and use my borderpunches to gave it that extra finishing look. ;)
The image I used is called: Raniy Day Dilly Duck and is from Digital Delights. A great image. :))

De stempels van Mo Manning vindt ik ook zo geweldig. Wat dacht je van dit heerschap dat hier zo beteuterd kijkt alsof ie zijn laatste oortje versnoept heeft. Deze afbeelding heet "Late". Ik vond het wel leuk om hem voor een verjaardags kaart te gebruiken. Hij kijkt zo verdrietig alsof die wil zeggen "alweer een jaartje ouder" , zucht!!  ....lol...

I love Mo Manning Stamps, they are great and so detailed. So what do you think of this gentlemen? He looks so sad. I thought it was great to use it for a birthday card. He looks like he is feeling depressed because he is one year older and getting old. ...lol... This image is called "Late".

En ook de binnenkant is versierd. De quote vondt ik er ook goed bijpassen en die uiltjes maken het geheel weer af.
I also decorated the inside and this quote is perfect for this card. The owls just gives it the finishing touch.

Dit afdrukje van Sugar Nellie heet "Painting Rainbows" en heb ik ooit gekregen. Het is perfect voor een kaartje voor iemand die verhuisd is of gaat verhuizen. Er moet dan ook vaak  geklust worden en wat is dan beter om iemand zo'n kaartje te sturen. ;))

This image is from Sugar Nellie and is called "Painting Rainbows" and was given to me. It's perfect for a card for someone who is moving to a new home. As we all know there is lots of work to do when you move, like painting. So this image is perfect for this type of card. ;))

En ik kon het niet laten om de binnenkant ook te doen. Het leuke vindt ik ook om een keer als basis geen cardstock maar dubbelzijdig papier te gebruiken. Gelukkig is dit wel stevig papier dus heel geschikt hiervoor. Dat geeft toch weer een heel andere uitstraling.

I also decorated the inside. The nice thing about this card is that I didn't use cardstock as the base of my card but dubble sided paper. It's solid paper so perfect for this type of card and it gives it a totally different look.
