Hostess Monday At Digital Delights

Vandaag ben ik Hostess Monday bij Digital Delights en laat ik jullie 2 kaartjes zien die ik gemaakt hebt.
Het eerste kaartje is gemaakt met de afbeelding Boo Boo Bear, zo'n grappig beertje. :)) Het papier heb ik rondom gedistressed met bruine chalk om het wat minder zoet te maken. In het hart van de bloemen heb ik bling steentjes gedaan.

Today I'm Hostess Monday at Digital Delights and I'm  showing you the 2 cards that I made for it.
The first card is made with the image called Boo Boo Bear. A super cute image that I couldn't resist playing with. :)) I distressed the papers with brown chalk so it would't look so sweet. In the hearts of the flowers I put a bling stone.

Het volgende kaartje is een Zig Zag Card, deze Tutorial van Christina kwam ik tegen op You-Tube. Ook laat zij zien hoe je een dubbele Zig Zag Card maakt.
Ik heb een enkele Zig Zag Card gemaakt en dezelfde pons als haar gebruikt. Deze pons zocht ik al een hele tijd en ik kon hem toevallig van iemand over nemen samen met een bijbehorende hartjes pons.
Aangezien ik een trouwkaart wilde maken was deze pons er perfect voor. Deze keer heb ik ook geen afbeelding gebruikt om te laten zien dat je met een tekst alleen ook een hele mooie kaart kan maken. De tekst komt van de Wedding and Anniversary Sentiments Set van Digital Delights.

The next card is a Zig Zag Card. I found this Tutorial from Christina on You-Tube where she also shows you how to make a double Zig Zag Card.
But I made a single Zig Zag Card and used the same punch as here. I was looking for this punch for some time know and finally was able to get my hands on it together with the matching heart punch.
As I wanted to make a wedding card I tought this punch would be perfect for it.
This time I didn't use a image because I wanted to show you that you don't need a image to make a beautiful card. So I used a sentiment from the Wedding and Anniversary Sentiments Set from Digital Delights.

Miriam heeft een sketch gemaakt voor ons en daarmee heb ik het volgende kaartje gemaakt. Weer eens heel wat anders omdat ik geen afbeeling gebruikt hebt wat ik moet inkleuren. Ik vindt het wel leuk om ook eens wat anders te doen en te proberen. En deze stans van Whimsy Stamps vondt ik zo leuk dat ik die voor mijn kaartje wilde gebruiken. ;)

Miriam made us a sketch this week and I made the following card with it. It's totally different from what I normally do because I didn't use a image to colour. Instead I used a die from Whimsy Stamps that I love and wanted to use for my card. I love to make or try different style of cards. ;)

Deze week is het thema bij Delightful Challenges "Paper Piecing". Ik heb hiervoor "Camouflage Digital Paper Pack" gebruikt van Digital Delights om de luchtballon aan te kleden. Zo is die in dezelfde stijl als de kleding van Military Molly. ;) De ondergrond heb ik gestempeld met stempels van Technique Tuesday en een onbekend merk. De post stempel op de voorkant en de stempels op de binnenkant van de kaart zijn van Eline's Huis.

This week the thema at Delightful Challenges is "Paper Piecing". I used the "Camouflage Digital Paper Pack" from Digital Delights to paper piece the air balloon. This way it has the same style as the clothes from Military Molly. ;) I stamped the grass and flowers with stamps from Technique Tuesday and a brand that is unknown. The post stamp on the front of the card and the stamps inside the card are from Eline's Huis.

Deze week hebben wij een sketch bij Delightful Challenges, een makkelijke waar je alle kanten op kan. ;)  Voor mijn kaart heb ik de afbeelding Primped Up Pasquali gebruikt. Is het geen lieverd? Toen ik hem zag moest ik er gewoon een kaart mee maken. :) En om hem toch een wat stoerder uiterlijk te geven heb ik wat donkere en mannelijke kleuren en papier gebruikt. De randen van het papier heb ik met zwarte ink bewerkt.

This week at Delightful Challenges we have a sketch for you. It's a simple one and great to use in different ways. ;) I used the image called Primped Up Pasquali. Isn't he cute? When I saw him I just had to make a card with it. He is so super cute. :) I wanted to give it a sturdy look so I used some dark and more male colours and papers. I also distressed the edges with black ink.

Zo heet deze digi van Saturated Canary ontworpen door Krista. Deze kan je aanvragen bij de club van Tiets. Je moet al wel een tijdje lid zijn van de club om hem aan te kunnen vragen. Er is ook meteen een wedstrijd aan verbonden en voor 12 mei moet je kaartje ingeleverd zijn, anders kan je de volgende keer geen digi meer aanvragen. Ik vindt hem zo ontzettend leuk en hij is ook heel geweldig om in te kleuren. :))

This is how this digi is called from Saturated Canary designed by Krista. You can ask for this digi at the club from Tiets. You have to be a member of her club for some time to be able to ask for this digi. There is also a competition with it and you have to enter your card before May 12. If your not on time you are not able to ask for a digi the next time.
This digi is so super cute and great to colour, I love it. :))

Deze maand is de Challenge bij Sundays With Crissy je favoriete kleurencombinatie. A Proper Gentleman Album

A Proper Gentleman Album

Op You-Tube volg ik al een tijdje Creativecafegirl. Zij maakt prachtige albums en projecten en heeft ook veel tutorials over hoe je ze moet maken. Toen zij dit album liet wat ik nu gemaakt hebt was ik helemaal verkocht. Zo ontzettend leuk. Dus met behulp van haar tutorial heb ik dat boekje nagemaakt met het papier van Grapich 45 en de lijn A Proper Gentleman. Het is de bedoeling dat hier foto's in komen van mijn man's hobby, houtdraaien. Dit stoere papier is hier echt geschikt voor. De basis is klaar en eventuele verdere embellishments komen er dan nog bij. Maar ik kleed hem verder af als ik de foto's heb. ;) De basis van het boekje is een soort doosje met 2 boekjes erin. En in de boekjes zitten weer zwarte miniboekjes met tags. Zo plaats voor veel foto's dus. ;)

I follow on You-Tube Creativecafegirl for some time now. She makes amazing albums and projects and has a lot of tutorials on how you make the albums. When she showed the album I just made I fell in love with it. So cute and different then the albums I normally make. So with help from here tutorial I made this album with the papers from Graphic 45 called A Proper Gentleman. I want to put pictures of my husband hobby in it. His hobby is woodturning, so these sturdy papers from Graphic 45 are just perfect for this. I finished the base and might put some extra embellishments in the album later when I have the pictures. ;) The base is some kind of box with 2 albums inside. And in the album you will find black mini albums with tags. So room for lots of pictures. ;)

Het thema deze week bij Delightful Challenges is Stitching Real Or Faux, in het nederlands is dat naaisteken, echte met een naaimachine of nep met een pen. Ik heb voor de pen gekozen omdat het teveel werk was om mijn naaimachine te pakken. Ik ben een beetje lui. ;)...lol....
Voor mijn kaart heb ik de "Lonely Pups Set" gebruikt, die vondt ik zo leuk. De tekst is ook van Digital Delights en daar heb ik één van die luie pups op bevestigd.

The theme this week at Delightful Challenges is Stitching Real Or Faux. I used a pen to make the stitches, I was to lazy to get my sewingmachine. ;)...lol..
I used the "Lonely Pups Set". I think they are so stinking cute. :)) The sentiment is also from Digital Delights and I attached one of the lazy puppies on top of it.

Afgelopen maand hadden we een ATC Swap met het thema "Time" op het forum van de Craftorij.
Na even nadenken wat ik hiermee zou gaan doen is dit uiteindelijk mijn uitwerking geworden.

Last month we had a ATC Swap ont the forum from the Craftorij with the theme "Time". I came up with these ATC cards after thinking what I should make out of it.

Fantasy Theme at Delightful Challenges

Aan het begin van elke maand komen er nieuwe digi's uit bij Digital Delights en krijgen wij een afbeelding om mee te werken. Ik heb Scaredy Cat en Dream Sentiment Set gekregen om mee te werken. Dit papier wat van een blokje komt van DoCrafts vondt ik er leuk bij passen, stoer, met natuurlijke tinten en ook iets sprookjes achtig. Ik heb mijn kaartje heel simpel gehouden vanwege het patroon wat in het papier zit. De vlinders maken het verder af. De tekst heb ik uitgeponst met mijn nieuwe Stampin Up punch wat ik bij Miranda besteld hebt. Ik ben er zo blij mee. :))

At the beginning of eacht month we have a new release at Digital Delights and the DT members are given a image to work with. I  received Scaredy Cat and Dream Sentiment Set. The papers come from a paperpad from DoCrafts and I loved to use it for my card. The colours are sturdy, and natural and it has some fairytail feeling to it. I kept my card simple because of the pattern of the papers and the butterfly's give it that finishing touch. I punched the sentiment out with my new Stampin Up punch that I ordered at Miranda. I'm so happy with it. :))
