De Challenge bij StampInsanity is deze week "Sparkle", gebruik glinster op je kaart en als bonus gebruik zilver. Ik heb met Sternen Glanz overal glitter accenten aangebracht en als basis voor de kaart zilver kleurig Cardstock gebruikt. Voor mijn kaart heb ik de afbeelding Morgan gebruikt. Deze is geschikt voor diverse doeleinden zoals b.v. Halloween maar ook leuk om zo te gebruiken met een leuke tekst zoals deze hier van Kraftin Kimmie. Deze heb ik bij Cute Stamps and Card gekocht net als de Quickie Glue en Sternen Glans..

The Challenge this week at StampInsanity is  "Sparkle" and as a bonus use Silver. I made glitter accents with Sternen Glanz and the base of my card is silver Cardstock. The image that I used is called Morgan. You can use this one for different occasions like Halloween but also with a funny sentiment like I did on my card.  The sentiment is from Kraftin Kimmie. This one I bought at Cute Stamps and Cards just like the Quickie Glue and Sternen Glanz.

Duo Challenge

Duo Challenge

Via Ellen kwam ik op dit nieuwe Challenge blog terecht. Je kan daar dit leuke patroon van de schaats aanvragen en de digi stempel downloaden. Ik vondt hem zo leuk dat ik hem aangevraagd hebt en dit is mijn uitwerking geworden. Ik heb op de kaart met Sternen Glanz wat glitter aangebracht. De swirl heb ik gemaakt door eerst met een swirl stempel op papier te stempelen, vervolgens heb ik daar een micra vel op gelegd en dan het patroon van de stempel gevolgd door er strassstenen op te plakken. Daarna heb ik hem uitgeknipt en tussen de bloemen bevestigd. Eerst had ik dit gedaan met de Perlen Pen maar helaas blijven die parels niet plakken want als je hem uitknipt vallen ze er allemaal af.
De leuke spacer komt bij Cute Stamps and Cards vandaan, net zoals de pins, Quickie Glue en Sternen Glanz. ( Dit is een hele gave winkel met een uitstekende service. ) Die geven toch ook weer een leuk accent op de kaart. De grote bloem heb ik met Copics bewerkt zodat die ook bij het papier past.

On Ellen's blog I found out about a new Challenge Blog called Duo Challenge. For their first Challenge you could ask for the pattern of this skate and download this Snowmen. I loved this Challenge so much that I decided to ask for the pattern of the skate. And this is my take on the card.
On the card I put Sternen Glanz for some glitter. I made the swirl by first stamping the swirl on papers. Then I put the plastic sheet on top of it and followed the pattern of the swirl by placing the strasstones on it. Then I cut it our and placed it in between the flowers. At first I tryed to make the pearls with the Pearlen Pen but they wouldn't stick on the sheet. When I tryed to cut the swirl out they all fall of so that's why I used strassstones instead.
This lovely spacer and pins I got at Cute Stamps and Cards just like the Quickie Glue and Sternen Glanz. ( A great store with great service. ) I think they gave a nice accent on the card. I coloured the big flower with my copics so it would fit with the papers.

De opdracht voor deze Challenge van StampInsanity is om een Holiday-themed card te maken. Ik heb Renaissance Maddie gebruikt hiervoor. En ik heb weer met het papier van Bo Bunny gewerkt. ;)
De sketch is van Mojo Monday en heb ik een slag gedraaid omdat dat beter uitkwam met de afbeelding.  De brad heb ik bewerkt met Versamark en Holographic Embossingpowder en verhit. Dit heb ik een paar keer gedaan om een laagje te krijgen. Op de kerstsok en de haarbandjes heb ik rode stickles gedaan. De kaart is verder eenvoudig gehouden. ;)

The Challenge this week at StampInsanity is to make a Holiday-themed card. I used Renaissance Maddie. And again I used papiers from Bo Bunny. ;)
The sketch is from Mojo Monday and I turned it because of the size of the image. I made some sparkle on the brad by putting it first into Versamrak and then into Holographic Embossingpowder and heatted it with the heattool. I did this several times. On the stocking and the hair ribbon I put some red stickles. I kept the card simple. ;)

Het thema bij Delightful Challenges is Happy New Year. Voor mijn kaart heb ik het papier van Bo Bunny gebruikt. Deze serie vindt ik zo gaaf. En ik ben al zo goed als door mijn papier heen, helaas. :((
De afbeelding heet Caroling Penny en is van Digital Delights, net als de teksten.
Bij de Challenges kwam ik deze leuke sketch van Our Creative Corner tegen, helemaal perfect voor mijn kaart. Op de muts van Penny heb ik Crushedd Velvet Flock gebruikt, dat geeft zo'n fluweelachtig effect. Om de tekst heb ik met Liquid Apllique gewerkt en verhit met de föhn, geeft ook al zo'n leuk effect. En op de ondergrond van Penny heb ik Sternen glanz gedaan voor wat glitter. Ik ben best wel tevreden met mijn kaartje. ;) Komt denk ik voornamelijk omdat ik het papier zo leuk vindt. Misschien toch nog eens kijken of ik het nog ergens kan krijgen. ;)

I found this great sketch on the Challenge blog from Our Creative Corner, just perfect for my card.
On Penny's hat I put Crushed Velvet Flock, great stuff and it feels so soft. Love it! On the sentiment I put Liqued Applique and heated it with the heattool so it pops up. I love the effect of it. Beneath Penny's feet I put Sternen Glanz for some glitter. I love how my card turned out. ;) Maybe because I love  the designpapers. I have to find a place where they still have these papers. Just love it. Have I told you that??...lol... :))

De binnenkant vondt ik ook weer leuk om te doen dat maakt de kaart toch echt af. Dezelfde afbeelding van Mo Manning heb ik ook weer terug laten komen alleen nu wat kleiner. ;)

I decorated the inside to give it the finishing touch. I used the same image from Mo Manning for the inside only a little smaller. ;)

Bij deze Challenge van StampInsanity mag je een kaart voor jezelf maken. Alles mag. Lekker makkelijk dus. ;)
Ik had een In Shape Mal van Crealies gekocht bij Cute Stamps and Cards en die wou ik graag gebruiken voor mijn kaartje zodat ik eens een andere vorm had. ;)  Samen met deze stempel van Stampinsanity "Elfin Morgan Holiday" en het leuke papier van Little yellow Bicycle is het een leuk en vrolijk kaartje geworden.

I bought a In Shape Mal form Crealies at Cute Stamps and Cards and wanted to use it for my card so I had another shaped card. ;) Together with this stamp from StampInsanity called "Elfin Morgan Holiday" and these papers from Little Yellow Bicycle makes it a cute and nice card.

Ook de binnenkant is versierd, en ik vindt het er zo leuk uitzien. Het maakt deze kaart echt helemaal af. ;)

I also decorated the inside and this gives it the finishing touch. I love it. ;)

Ik had dit papier  van S.E.I. liggen die ik wou gebruiken voor mijn Gingerbread kaart en daarmee wilde ik alles in de bruinige tinten doen. Helaas pakte het niet zo uit als ik voor ogen had en ben ik dus ook niet tevreden over de kaart. Maar goed, tijd om een andere te maken was er niet meer. Ik heb alles ingekleurd met Chalk en dat is denk ik ook de reden dat die niet mooi is. Het resultaat is gewoon slecht. Tsja, soms heb je van die dagen dat het niet mee zit. ;)
De kaart heb ik ook met Glimmermist bewerkt maar dat zal je op de foto niet zo goed zien denk ik. ;)

I wanted to use these papers from S.E.I. for my Gingerbread card and watned to do everything in brown colours. Only it didn't work out the way I had in mind, so I'm not satisfyed. I didn't had the time to make a new card so this one will do for now. I coloured everything with chalk and I think that's the reason I don't like it. The results is just bad. Well, you have some of those day's things don't go they way you planned it. ;)
I also sprayed Glimmermist on the card but I think that is hard to see on the picture. ;)

De sketch die ik gebruikt hebt is van Mojo Monday, erg leuk om mee te werken.

De Challenge bij Creative Cowgirls is makkelijk, namelijk "Anything Goes", alles mag. ;) Ik heb een pocket gemaakt met een tag erin. Van de sponsor hebben wij een afbeelding gekregen om mee te werken. Deze week ben ik aan de beurt om de Challenge te verzorgen bij de Dutch Card Lovers. Ik heb deze sketch gemaakt waardoor ik mij door de Challenge van vorige week heb laten inspireren.

This week it's my turn to look after the Challenge at the Dutch Card Lovers. I was inspired by the Challenge from last week and made this sketch.

Dit is mijn uitwerking geworden. This is my take on the sketch.

Maak een project waarop kant of stof verwerkt is, dat is de opdracht van deze week bij de Challenge van StampInsanity. Terwijl ik de kaart bijna afhad realiseerde ik me dat ik geen kant maar lint gebruikt had. Dom! Maar ja, waar verwerk ik nu nog kant op?? Tussen mijn spullen vondt ik kant met bloemen erop. Ik heb er toen een aantal uitgeknip en met groene ink bewerkt en tussen de blauwe bloem en rose roos gedaan. ;))
De afbeelding heet zoals de titel al zegt "Renaissance Maddie".

Make a project using lace or fabric, that's the theme at the Challenge of StampInsanity. When my card was almost finished I realised that I didn't use lace but ribbon instead..Ohhh my..Now how should I solve this problem?? While I was looking for lace I found this one with flowers on it. So I cut a few out and inked them with green inkt and layered them with the blue flower and little pink rose. Pff... problem solved. ;))

De tekst aan de binnenkant is ook van StampInsanity en heet ( het kan ook niet anders ) "Let Your Light Shine". ;) De hertjes heb ik met een ronde Nestebilitie uitgestans en daarna nog een keer uit chipboard om het op te hogen. Zo krijgt het iets meer diepte en komt het beter tot zijn recht.

The sentiment on the inside is also from StampInsanity and is called ( how could it be something else ) "Let Your Light Shine". I cut out the deer with my round Nestebilitie and also out of chipboard to let it pop up. This way it's getting more depth on the card.

New Beginnings and New Release

Het thema van Delightful Challenges is New Beginnings, met andere woorden een nieuw begin. Het kan een nieuw huis zijn, een geboorte, nieuw jaar, nieuwe baan, etc. Het DT heeft dit gecombineerd met de nieuwe release van Digital Delights.
Hieronder kan je de nieuwe stempels zien die uitgekomen zijn. Zijn ze niet leuk?? Geweldig zijn ze weer. :))

Condoleance kaarten zijn altijd moeilijk te maken vindt ik. Ik heb deze bijna hetzelfde gemaakt als de laatste keer. Alleen heb ik de vogels vervangen door vlinders en het lint anders gedaan. Voor de rest is hij identiek.

I think condoleance cards are hard to make. I made this one almost identical as the one I made last time. I only changed the birds into butterflies and attached the ribbon different. Apart from that it is the same.
